Finding an integrative physical therapist in NYC

Finding a top-notch integrative physical therapist in NYC can at times be overwhelming. But now in the times of Coronavirus, it can be even more of a feat. At Integrative Physical Therapy of NYC, we understand your concerns around finding a physical therapist and receiving treatment, and we are here to alleviate your fears and review our safety protocols with you.

Safety protocols for Physical Therapy

Patient and staff safety has always been a priority for us, but now especially we are taking extra precautions to make sure you are safe when you come for physical therapy treatments with one of our doctors, and our staff is safe as well. Some of the extra precautions we are taking include:

  • Private Physical Therapy Treatment Rooms:

All physical therapy patients are seen in private treatment rooms.

  • Sanitizing & Disinfecting:

All treatment rooms, equipment and patient areas are frequently sanitized and disinfected before and after each patient enters treatment.

  • Mask Wearing:

Each staff member at Integrative Physical Therapy wears a mask. Patients are encouraged to wear masks in common areas but are welcome to remove their mask during their private treatment if they wish to do so.

  • Schedules:

Patients are scheduled in a manner that prevents too many people in the waiting room at one time. The staff at Integrative Physical Therapy accomodate their schedules daily in an effort to allow each patient plenty of time. Due to this, please be advised that your appointment time is subject to change to accommodate this new policy.

For many, postponing physical therapy treatment is not an option, and we do not recommend it, as it may exacerbate your symptoms or condition. We appreciate your patience and are happy to be back in the swing of seeing our patients. If you are ready to schedule an appointment with one of our therapists, please click here.
